My New Vintage Treasure

This drawer used to be belong to my uncle, he's an architect, he used this drawer to keep his stationery, draw paper, etc. My grandpa build this drawer for him, since my grandpa is a crafter soul too. And since my college time the drawer changed hands to me, since I can use the drawer like my uncle used to, for your information, I have an Interior Designer degree from some university in Bandung. And so long after my grad, I'm back to Jakarta and left the drawer. Last week I came to Bandung to attend my cousin's wed, and for some matters me and my parent went to the old house, and I saw it. Dusty and poorly maintained. So I decided to bring it to Jakarta, so it can company my crafty time. Love it! Coz it can keep so much thing organizely. Here it is:

ShopWitches Workshop's Debut

Start from desperation ended with relief. I'm so glad I'm not a kind who like to reject an opportunity. From answering a question from Facebook, ShopWitches' workshop have an opportunity to appear in an Interior/Architecture mags.
The interview&photo shoot scheduled a day after the company confirmed that they would like to make a report about SW's workshop. But I realized there's a lot of things to be done, like the paint, the layout, and the decoration. So I made an offer to give me an extra 3 days, and they said OK.
So within 3 days, me n my mow worked really hard, painting the wall, re-decorate the room, and use the new layout. And I'm satisfied with our work, and to make me happier, the photographer said that he like the workshop, have a characteristic, unique, and homy.

Here's the new workshop:

Finally, Cleaning the Work Area

After many delays and excuses, yesterday I cleaned my work area. Full of dust, trinket, and another not-been-cleaned-work-area had. So, me and my mom 'voluntary' work for two days.

My work area after the hard work...
The work table is facing the backyard, so it's so refreshing to work there in the morning. Do you see the scale above the stereo speaker? It always there to scaling the cloth fabric and the weigh of a delivery package. And do you curious what is it in the bucket?
It's my Percha/pach cloth collection. I'm digging at it if I need a perfect motives for my patchwork.

And I'm so happy with my new shelves (well, not new. it's a vintage, but it suites my beads, buttons, and motes collections.
